19 druid coin port quest ! mage epic NPC?
 

Back in classic there was this quest that I used to do on my druid alt. It was nerfed after a while but not before I was able to level all the way to 27ish I wanna say? Basically you bind at this epic NPC mob in Lake Rathe.. and you port to another location ( can't remember where ) and pick up an item ( coin? ). Gate and turn in. Rinse repeat. Does anyone remember this? Is it in game currently? I know when I was doing it it's possible it was during velious already. I know when they nerfed it they just greatly reduced EXP gain. So I assume it's in game now with epics being around. I just wonder if anyone has done this? Knows where or what I'm talking about?

You know what, that sounds familiar. But I seem to remember it being in Velious and the bind point was on Iceclad Island or whatever the zone is called from the dock in NRO. Don't quote me on it.

You port to West Commons. Jahsohn Aksot is the NPC there. I don't know if the quest has been nerfed here. But, I am pretty sure it wasn't nerfed on live until either late Kunark or early Velious.

Tried this on a 22 druid, did it twice and didn't even get 1% xp.

Same-- tried it on my 19 druid yesterday and my bar didn't even budge. Would have been awesome if it worked though.
