he was probably there on a low lvl alt trying to win roll from lvl 60's and died to chaos breath AoE from cargalia

The first time Von pathed through it fluxed a few people to hell. We were heading to the tunnel with the captain during the second attack, so I don't know what killed people then.

Easy enough to die to that one on a 60 if you're caught unprepared and get 20K'd from the landing, or are on a caster type who can't necessarily laugh off 1200+ damage hits.
