Specialization for enchanter
 

Hey was curious what skill specialization should I focus on.
I will be soloing and grouping mostly. Zero chance of raiding. I’d say soloing 60% of the time.
Do I go with alteration? Or conjuration?
Does it make a huge difference?

It's cheap (~150p) to respec via the solro temple quest. I let specialization happen "naturally" because that way the casting skill you use most often automagically hits 51 first. If you want to see what difference a different spec will make:

As a chanter who been soloing, grouping a lot, and raiding a few, I went alteration and didn't regret my choice, slow and haste are really mana intensive when leveling and reducing it helped a lot.
Also root is a good way to CC warrior type mobs and is based on alteration too.

your solo and group at 50+ is a lot of alteration.
