This darkelf (?) Looks like a 1990s Japanese video game character to me haha :cool:

Note: some shots show the original fireball spell graphic. It wasn't a little dot like on P99.

The sword that gnoll is holding looks cooler than anything in vanilla.

its fun to read how they use to write before game journalism killed it.

very cool...thanks for posting these. I have a really fuzzy memory of reading a computer magazine article in 1998 about the upcoming release of EQ...very very nostalgic to recall how I imagined the world and game might work.

also, as you all can see, there is nobody tab targeting in any of these screenshots. Is there anyone who still needs more evidence?
