Tuna goes with garlic, you just eat and breath garlic so ya can't see it is all. It's health benefits don't make up for your hot cheetos addiction :(

use fine sweet onions or scallions instead

Yea, garlic is a bit too powerful when paired with another powerful flavor like tuna. I think you're onto something -- need something more subtle to pair w/ the tuna.
