I rolled a Dwarf Warrior on a friends account (Quellious represent!) after release and instantly fell in love with the game. I bought my own copy shortly after that and moved to Lanys after it opened and played there until I quit after clearing PoP.

Classic EQ is still the best gaming experience I've ever had.

I started in may 1999...barbarian warrior. I made it to lvl 5 and continually got killed in the tunnel to BB cuz I'd get stuck on the rock every time...lol used to love it when a shaman would run by and light up my eyes...haha good times

First toon was a DE Wizard on Tunare, I started like a week before sol temple was released.

I went to a buddy's house when I was ~12, and he made me a dark elf rogue, and bet me $1 I couldn't find the way to the forest before he got out of the shower. I lost $1 that day.

I had my EQ cherry popped on august 12th (ish) of 2009. A friend I met online gaming in a different venue told me about EQ and this free server, and convinced me to join. My first was a paly not a win. My second was a mage and I have 8 alts from that point.

I LOVE this game, it consumes my life.

I played it like a week after release on my bros account for about 3 hours then went out and bought it the next day.. was and still is my favorite MMO

Been watching my step dad play since EQ classic... started playing around 2002 maybe earlier? ever since then been playing eq till today.. now looking to play the basics agian with my spare time in college since my computer cant hold EQ+expansions for live =p

Started with a druid on Sullon Zek, switched to Rallos Zek, then eventually all the pvp servers got merged to just Zek.. Pretty much all my family used to play, my mom, stepdad, bro, both step sisters, and step brother.. now its just me, my mom, and step dad...Mom is the leader of one of the top guilds on the pvp sever... i have many characters though.. 85 druid/85 warrior/85 shadowknight/70 wizard/70 necro/78 necro/67 rogue/ 65 beserker.. and thats just on Zek.. heh
