Just returned after 16 years, loving it!

The community has been great so far. I leveled my dwarf warrior to 4 yesterday, got plenty of buffs from higher lvls passing by, and felt a great accomplishment finally acquiring 2 backpacks lol. Then today I got hooked up randomly with a gloom water harpoon, 2 jagged bands, and a bf helm. This will get me to cb a bit quicker than my rusty weaps.

Welcome back to the game Lemzik! I just started back a few weeks ago myself. The community is (usually) very supportive and I've had an overall great experience here.

Thought for the day. When a player does something good for you (stops to give you hand-me-down items, randomly buffs you or helps you to get a few extra kills to get that level faster) be sure to pass it on to junior players later when you're a little more accomplished as well. Keeps the community strong :)

Welcome dwarf

Forgot to mention- I had tried the live version with a few buds a while back and we got tired of it pretty quickly, mostly due to the massive amounts of 6 boxers running around. THIS is the experience I was after.

Ah yes, this is definitely the place to be with a friend. You can enjoy the experience of norrath.

I came to this server in March myself. I logged into Ragefire one day when P99 was down recently ... and ... wtf have they done to this place? That's all I could thing. P99 gets it right. Thanks to the devs and admins and anyone with a hand in it. What "live" has become is not what EQ was about when it started at all.

Welcome my dwarf-brother!

The community here is pretty awesome, I had a similar experience to yours when I first started. Just started chatting with some people about how excited I was to be back playing EQ the way it was meant. They proceeded to hook me up with some nice stuff, gave me a warm welcome, and told me to have fun. I've been doing my best to pay it forward when I can, and I hope I've helped get some new players the welcome they needed to stick around and play. See you in Norrath!
