Quiet Mage Pet Nerf?

Hey all, just checking in - the level of [greater vocaration] pets seems to be reduced after the latest patch, and no one is talking about it. Though to be fair, I may have missed where it was explicitly stated this would occur.

The fact that there's no hubbub about it is reason enough to believe that mages are an under-represented class in actual play.

Would love word on whether this was planned or an accident.

Thanks kindly.

I believe they accidentally made them all one level too high when they nerfed the pets last time, and fixed it this time. Not 100% sure though. They are definitely different though, went from max hit 54 to 62 (focused) to 52-60.

Yes, I recently leveled my Mage to 60 and the levels were decreased by one. Pet levels previously were 44-48 and NOW are 43-47 (+1 level for boosted pets).

I could no longer summon a boosted air pet that proc'ed DD air stun for 60. 59 was the max I could summon after the patch sadly.

Damn, harsh.

Mage nerfs being stacked.

I can still summon an unfocused earth pet that hits for 60, maybe they broke the focus items?

No, the Earth pet always hit for a little bit more.
