**WARNING** SS enchanter armor turn in mob
 

Warning!!!

I was witness to a biffed enchanter SS robe turn in, the mob was given 3 robe gems but never given the robe. If you go to MQ a robe, it is likely those gems are still in the mobs's quest inventory and will remain there till a turn in or quake/server rest. Simply killing the mob DOES NOT reset their quest inventory.

If someone has done a successful MQ please let the rest of us know. Otherwise it's a 40k gamble for anyone going to do an MQ.

I did petition, but was simply thanked for letting them know and no confirmation if the mob was reset or not was given.

you found out when someone handed in the robe, right? didn't they get the enchanter robe, thereby clearing the extra gems?

I thought there was a way to clear the npc... by giving them a junk item?

feeding them junk items does not work, nor does killing them. i've tried both methods. just need a server reset/quake

Is it worth a petition to get the mob reset?

Or just don't MQ?

MQ's have always been a part of this game. It's not always about selling your characters.

Yes i tempted fate and did a enchanter MQ last night, it worked fine. mob is clear

Found out today that an earthquake doesn't reset the armor NPCs, if you know a quest mob is booby trapped like this best to wait for full server shutdown/reset.
