Random mob seeing thru Rogue stealth
 

Just had this happen in DL, mob was ravishing drolvarg.

Is this a bug? Or maybe an ex-pet buffed with See Invis?

Sounds Classic. Sort of a named mob.

not classic. not much sees thru rogue stealth, certainly not random overland trash.

While I believe that ability was a lesser known 'bug' on live, having the ability to see invis should not allow you to see rogue stealth. Don't they need a higher level of 'See Hide'?

Not sure what happened, maybe you lagged or something or fat fingered a button on your keyboard, or maybe you were on his hate list and ran to leash and he remembered you?

Nah, no way i was on hate list, I stealthed in the tunnel at FV zl after zoning in. Was running from FV zl to KC, ignoring mobs because nothing there sees thru Rogue stealth, about 2/3 the way there I get hit.

Maybe.. must maybe.. the Ravishing ones tracked you down by your scent... when is the last time you took off that armor and cleaned it and yourself? A long swim into the port of FV usually does it for at least a day depending on if you go out and get the gear all blood soaked again or not. I do believe the ravishing dogs see thru normal invisibility, and well I do remember from back on live rogue being pretty invulnerable with sneak/hide combo engaged. I can't speak of the "classic" time since I started my own account back on live when Luclin dropped. From what I have seen so far here on 99 any form of SI let you see a rouge under sneak/hide as I actively keep up SI on my toons, as its always good to see who might be lurking in the area.
