The smell was awful. A sulfurous haze filled the air of the old mineshaft that had been left to the Goblins. I couldn't decide which was worse, the scent of scarred deep earth or the exposed innards of the creatures we left split open.

I couldn't believe I had made the climb. The surface of the ancient carving was covered in ice. I stepped carefully onto the outstretched arm, my paws padding softly on the Fresh snow. The view was incredible. I kept an eye out for my foe...

The giant collapsed, bereft of it's life. A cloud of snow filled the air as the impact of it's weight hit the ground. In the nearby caverns an unearthly screech could be faintly heard; the cry of an ancient Wurm. The Queen sensed the felling of her attendant, and even our hardy grey fur did not preserve us from the chill upon hearing that voice...

The man was kind enough to lend me a stack of hay. He kept an eye on me though I could not blame him. I pulled off my boots and laid my mail to the side, glad to feel light and natural again. Outside this sanctuary lay a world of fear and danger.... but the next few hours were mine alone.
