Pushing blacksmithing past 168 as Solisek Ro Dark Elf wizard

Title is the question: is there any point to grinding all those damn leather padding’s to get my smithing skill past banded trivial (168) as a Solusek Ro dark elf wizzie?
Sound off

You can do banded cloak up to 175
For wizard, I’m guessing JC or tailoring are the only tradeskills worth aiming 250
I don’t think it’s worth going over 175 on smithing as wizard

Didn't know I could take the cloak up to 175, thanks for that. I was figuring, if I am going to spend a lot of time farming mats and tradeskilling blacksmithing it might as well be on a race with a deity who can make some cool cultural armor.

Your logic is sound. Wizard a good choice for crafting with that high int. DE cultural wearable by HEF & DEF as well.

Holy smokes Pitted Iron Ring this thing is incredible! Is that best in slot? Now you've really tempted me...

The earring is the best reward imo. There are better rings, but those require a rather large commitment in terms of raiding - except for the chardok rings I guess.
