first time bard CoD question
 

bard is probably one of the few classes i've yet to play and let me tell you it's really fun. i'm trying to learn how to quad kite and have a few questions with song mechanics.

currently i'm doing: selos/stop, CoD/stop, CoD/stop. what i want to know is: is CoD more similar to a dd spell rather than a dot? like, does damage land right as the spell finishes? am i doing double the damage by stopping CoD and recasting CoD vs. lets say selos/stop, CoD/stop, regen/stop?

Its a pure dot, no first time nuke damage. You don't do any extra damage by trying to stack casts of it.

the only reason you would want to CoD twice in a row is to re-apply due to a resist. Otherwise your better off hitting another song/dot (once you get them)
