<MERCHANT> Green Crafters Guild - Casual Fun

Looking for a classic experience in the world of Norrath? Merchants of Norrath, <Merchant> for short, is designed to mimic and bring you the experience of reliving the old school crafting guilds of 1999 and classic EQ.

If your a casual gamer that enjoys long fishing trips with friends, building your tradeskills while chatting and selling your handmade items, then become a Merchant of Norrath.

In the classic fashion <Merchant> will assist its members in tradeskills with the gathering/farming of resources and materials, a daily wanted list, a pricing database/guide and access to plenty of storage.

Ever need a skewer, pie tin, bow staff, or crafting mat to help get your skills to the next level? It can be troublesome, but now merchant has your back.

<Merchant> helps guide the trade skill economy or Norrath, setting balanced prices and keeping supply and demand in check and balanced for the new green economy. When you want quality contact a <Merchant>.

Need supplies fast, a quick /who all merchant can help you find that HQ wolf pelt or Essence of moonlight you need to help skill up or maybe you need a full suit of banded or a 10 slot weight reducing backpack. <Merchant> has the crafted items you need.

Look for a <Merchant> near you.

To become a member simply post your name below and a fellow merchant will be in touch.

In regards to requirements:
You do not need a Tradeskill, some merchants choose to sell materials only, for instance stacks of bone chips, amanita, bat wings, grave mold etc...
It's optional to participate in our weekly 1 hour farming expeditions, if raiding unrest with 20 friends in pursuit of stacks of words for a fellow merchant studying research is not your thing, that is fine.

Great welcome aboard fellow Merchant!

Good question:
No we will not be sitting around the Tunnel trying to sell our wares. Crafting can be a tedious process and noobs may be limited in travel, so <Merchant> delivers, our model is the same as a standard post, just like the bards use. Simply do a /who all merchant place your order and wait for confirmation and delivery. Materials, crafted items and resources on demand.

Another question received about our hardcoreness.....

Sorry we are not hardcore in that typical rush to end sense. This is basically a guild for those who have no interest in the standard guild but rather seek fun adventures into the depths of the game, the vast , rich areas that can some times be overlooked and the deep storylines/huge amount of quests lol. Our focus is on helping others, adventuring, networking with other guilds, tracking down and obtaining hard to get resources or quest items for a pretty penny and crafting. We put more focus on quality of chars then on a lvl or item. Quality as in maxed skills per lvl, maxing crafting etc.... Reputation and diplomacy is also important to us as we work to assist many guilds in game.

We will never send a blind invite and are carefully hand selecting our members to form a smaller, member capped, more tight knit, active group of old school players. With the member cap you can see we don't want great numbers, simply quality players.

The analytical data from our tests on blue show that we can manage a pop of 800-1k with a minimal sized group.

We do however have optional weekly events to farm items, resources and materials. Sunday processions and marches through populated areas at night with torches and robes...Based off the same old school events from the original 1999 crafter guilds.

The only thing we are really hardcore about is keeping the in game economy in check and balanced for all players who sell materials, craft or manage resources.

Thank you, mercer.

The Dark Men look forward to many transactions of fine goods in the days and months to come.

We particularly hope to cease on your findings of old scribbled notes and parchments you may come across.
