What makes us different from other EQEmu servers? The first thing to mention is the professional IT background of the operators. If we're gonna do something, we do it right. We are financially independent and do not rely on donations to run the server. Unlike other Velious/Classic servers, we always give the player the freedom of choice. No matter if he wants to play strictly classic or if he prefers for example the Luclin models, it is possible. Our server is not based on another copy of PEQ. The database and the quests are unique.

That being said, it sounds like all you're offering over P99 is small QoL fixes like instances, and some custom content. If you instead went to Luclin or PoP (vs. the exact same expansion as P99), you'd offer something genuinely different, something that people can't already get.

Without that, I suspect you'll have a difficulty finding enough of a community, as I suspect few people will leave P99 and start all over on a brand new server, just to get what they already have here ... but with some unknown custom content. Stuff like instances won't exactly be a selling point when your server has less than a few hundred people: you'll need something else (like Luclin) to get to the population where instances even matter.

What are "EXP boosters"?

After launching will you be listing your server on the eqemu server list?

Loramin makes a great point about how it's not offering enough difference to probably attract anyone here to restart. I might give it a go once Mischief runs its course just to check it out. I love the no boxing rule. Does it have AA's from luclin at least? That might be reason enough. It does say some QoL features and newer systems stay in place...


What is npc guilds? Is that like mercenaries but 20-40 of them? If so pass!
