Can anyone point me to where, or knows what content gets unlocked in Velious? I saw the wiki and a few other sites but none of them ever said what skills, ability,changes to the way things are implemented or anything else about this explanation. For instance, do rangers still receive a 40 percent xp penalty for being.... Rangers. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, google didn't come up with anything and I'm apparently not using the correct search word here either. I tried just velious and that gives me over 11 pages. Then I tried velious changes, velious patches, velious log. I can't seem to think of anymore.

I searched Velious Experience Penalty.

That thread is named "Hybrids, What Happens". The post I linked is a quote of the developers notes on what happens with exp penalty and their logic behind the changes. It's a good read.

Beyond your main question, I don't know how to answer your other questions. Eventually Rangers get Offensive and Defensive skill cap increases, 1-2 months in they get several spells added (Skin like Nature, Fear Animal, etc.). Level 55/60 Rangers gain Trueshot/Weaponshield disciplines day one, which increase bow damage for 2 or 3 min or make you parry every attack for 24? Seconds (respectively). I forget exact times on the discs, the wiki knows them better.

Thanks Dald. Yeah I was mainly just curious is there was a log showing what all changed. The things I posted were only meant to be an example. I'm glad WS and usually are two disc coming though. I used to for those off a lot on live.

For the most part, any changes to abilities or spells or skillcaps are listed here.
