Lost my corpse

Hey everyone, is there a shaman or someone available on Blue that can help find my corpse? I'm in Greater Faydark, level 5, and I didn't get my loc before I died and now I'm running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to find it. Is there anyone that could help me?

Hey sorry to hear that, I've been there soooo many times and I'm only lvl 14.

Some things that helped me that I had to learn the hard way:

1. Add a /loc macro so you can spam it before you die. This will allow you to find it again much easier. The location numbers are (first number: +N -S), (Second number: +W, -E), (third number: Z axis, not needed unless in dungeon)

2. Roll a Gnome Necro, they get a corpse detection spell at lvl 1. So all you need is to kill enough mobs to afford that 1 spell then run to Gfay and cast it while targeting nothing and it will point you in the direction of the nearest corpse (so if you have some clue as to where you were start as close as you can to it).

3. Don't shy away from asking for help in /ooc, especially if you've already tried your best

Also, PM me your in-game name, im not on too often but I can try to help

A lvl 4 bard can locate your corpse for you with the locate corpse song, and many low level bards can usually be found in gfay.

(followup tip, bind /loc and sense heading ability to the same key so whenever you use sense heading you get a loc)

Or if you have a ton of time, you can wait for it to rot and ask GMs to corpse summon it lol.
