Mordin missing Shark Meat

Supposed to be Shark Meat on Mordin in Mordin's meats, Thurgadin.
Was removed the patch after May 17th.

You can buy shark meat from a vendor in Thurgadin by the stack. He never runs out.

This was already brought up in a previous thread.

if nobody remembers, the shark meat was pulled because of a Quest in Gfay with the Emerald Guard. On live there were people plvling themselves to (I heard) up to lvl 35 on shark meat turn ins alone. In fact I still have a backpack full of shark meat on my oldest toon on EQ live. The quest was also sweet for darkies that wanted to get good faction with the elves (thought they still can't use the bank)

If it's not put in then it's not classic ... at least that's what other should be saying

gildor 05-03-2015 08:55 AM

bump, want unlimited shark..shit's classic

Portasaurus 05-03-2015 09:14 AM

Un-bump. Terrible thread. Terrible idea.

Say NO to Mordin's factory farmed meat nightmare!!!

This is absolutely classic. Exp wasn't that great. I did the quest on a ranger in live up to 12, but the gains were too low for it to be worth going further. The main benefit to this is the faction.

I brought this up early in the beta testing. And quite frankly, the fact that this was ignored on such an easy fix is why I stopped testing. I felt like my efforts were in vain.

I know it's a blurred line here, but IMO this falls under the "classic, but so thoroughly exploitable that it should be fixed here" much like the tumpy tonic quest was shortly after p99s release.

Mordin slogging that imitation shark "meat" in bulk quantities will cheapen my Smoked Shark product and cause irreparable damage to the Nomsanto bottom line. If Velious comes shipped with a shark-meat-laden Mordin, expect to hear from my legal team.

gildor 05-10-2015 11:25 AM

if this doesn't go in, clearly proof that big industry has its hooks in classicness of my experience..

nomsanto cant force me pay for genuine smoked product when a cheaper alternative should classicly be available..

I vote NOmsanto in 2015
