Like buying all the houses so you cant afford them and then transferring ownership to holding companies and you're like "guess ill sell my family home because I cant pay for this"

Sugar taxes

smoking taxes

sales taxes

all this stuff is a flat tax on the poor.

We live in a reganmerica disguised as a hopeful socialist utopia.

Poor people don't get the inheritance tax. It kicks in at like 1.5 million or something.

this is simplistic but at least you get the idea that your shit hole county is a nightmare and know that Regean, which is widely considered to be a great republican president, is a total loser and bullshiter and his policies, much like the right wing policies, not fondly remembered and source of chaos and trouble.

Also getting it that the poor are the most taxed people in this country.
Also understand that the poor subsidize the rich.

Now, try to understand that globally.
You're on the way!

This is exactly my point about messaging, the idea behind the tax is that we're fixing the gap between the rich and the poor. But what we're really doing is setting banks up to eat homes for pennies on the dollar. (Increasing the gap between the wealthy and the poor)

In reality higher taxes dont make people better people, if they did we'd all be living under a king right now.

I dont refer to poor people as homeless.

I refer to them as with a mortgage they're struggling to but successfully paying off.

In your own state, that would be at least 1.5 mil right there.

If we have an inheritance tax where the (middle class if you define home owners as them) pays for the poor (homeless) by giving their homes to the banks (the rich) so they can sell them for pennies on the dollar (to get richer at the expense of the now homeless middle class).

The messaging is its only for the millionaires! but in reality its for anyone who has a payed off or almost payed off a mortgage in 2020 at the expense of spending that money on themselves, and the bank gets the home.

Uhh

Tax policy is really simple

The bullshit you see is just to see if you will sign up to bamboozle yourself.

Rich people don't pay bullshit taxes like this. As others have stated.

Its easy to make tax policy fair and generate more revenue for the government, it would put 80,000 of the 83,000 IRS employees out of the job and 100,000 HR block employees out of the job. These are useless garbage jobs about memorizing forms and loopholes for tax policy. A joke game that costs everyone in the country valuable time and money for non productive work.

However, there is one core benefit to a befuddled pile of shit tax system that we have, and that benefit is Government control. The government wishes to control the actions of businesses and individuals by forcing various types of taxes on us. The increasing number of these dumbass taxes and their complex relations to eachother is why we have 160,000 people doing meaningless work in 2 organizations alone.

The problem? Super solvable
The will? Probably not there.

Corporate income tax comes right off the gross revenue line. Can't hide things in cost of goods sold because any of those goods would also have corresponding tax associated with them (I bought 10,000 sheets of wood that year) so then the wood vendor would have paid 10,000 sheets of wood worth of tax, so the government gets the same amount anyways.

Its easy, its fair, and it would mean corporations would actually have to pay taxes.

The benefit for the corporation is that they could get rid of some tax accountants.

All the out of work IRS and HR block people could find jobs as accountants for all the new companies that start up under this new much less combersome tax policy, that the government can fund with 50% of its new tax revenue through a "New business support program" which is a government run subsidized new business loan and support program designed to make our country actually good, robust, profitable, strong, flexible and healthy instead of cucking all citizens to uber-corps.

Home policy is easy. Corporations can't own homes. They aren't commercial properties, they are residential. Fuck you.

Individuals can own two homes, the third home pays a heavy "special property" tax which makes it still possible, but not a simple "Ya i might as well have 200 homes its good investment for me" and the loan application is not a regular home loan.

Problem solved. 1.3 million realtors pissed off due to decrease in prices but they will have a lot of new home sales.

Home loans given to anyone who can demonstrate ability to pay mortgage based on existing rent payment + property taxes + reasonable estimate of repairs. No credit needed, only proof of income. There is no risk to bank because the home is collateral. So fuck you zero risk bank loans going to 4th home owners.

Rental demand will plummet so the "service" that these multi home owners are providing will no longer be needed.

Sorry not running in 2024 but maybe 2028

Well, the solution to your financial problem is not to have more money, it's to make better decision in your past. (both true and very stupid)

A hundred years ago, they laughed at Karl Marx because he thought that given enough time, wealth would concentrate within the hands of a very few powerful elite.

Now, even a staunch republicans try to grapple with his nascent fascist tendencies and right leaning ideologies and try to reconcile this with this knowledge that the world is not very fair.

I'm sorry you don't understand basic economics.

You are right though.
Let's cut all taxes since it taxes the poor more.
Cut that shit off. End it.

Will be so much better off after that, right?

Like it's weird because you're too retarded to know that your stupid fucking ideas have been tried before.

This is why I say get an education.

Or whatever.
Maybe we could try not having countries and just giving the super rich complete power.
