Need more people camping fungi
 

Shit was like 40K this era on my live server, 215K here. Compared to an fbss which iirc was approx 10K vs 14K here

Shit should be on lock at this point for fucking 215K. Do us all a favor, including yourself, and start camping the shit. Make some plat while you drive down the price so people like me can afford it.

Some rare spawn rates and drop rates are fuxx0rd here. FBSS is a great example. It is heavily camped here, but goes for about 10x its value on the EQ progression server. Note the progression server has 3 or 4 times the population which means a lot more twinks buying it too. So, realistically if the spawn rates were equal it would be more common here, being heavily camped with less buyers.


I have noticed the same thing with the rare spawns in Traks Teeth, the named just do not pop. After killing about 100 foragers I have yet to see a named pop. The rate was more like 1 in 10 or better on live. That is why the Iksar regen BP is out of whack at 30k and was more like 5-10k on live.

Clearly the reason is not enough SEQ users!

I've noticed the price of Fungi is way way higher in this era than it was on live. Kind of strange how much plat people have generated on a server with a smaller population....

Fungi tunics are going for precisely what people are willing to pay for them.

People have been max level for longer and know precisely what to farm where to maximize revenue.

i pretty much drop a load in my pants if i ever get over 1k in my bank. i can't even fathom getting 10k, much less 100k, much less twice that. i hate everyone with a fungi tunic.

It's mostly an enormous amount of duped PP that's in the economy - there's a couple hundred cheating c*nts on the server (see recent suspensions), and the pp that was stripped from characters in various actions did not cover the pp already spent. So a lot of money was pumped into the market and it's kinda impossible to get rich enough to buy stuff by farming pp, you need to get lucky on some good drops and sell them to get your share of the pp.

So we gotta live with it...
