How will the merge work if you have full character slots on both servers?

Years ago I remember you saying you wanted to complete "blue" so you could one day play on the fresh server. Now that the day is finally arriving are you still planning to be there yourself? Sometimes drawn-out construction work can kill interest in a project (been there myself with some hobbies). Hopefully you can still enjoy the result of your labor.
