Shaman - Fungi Covered Great staff
 

Hello,

My Main is a 54 shaman and I have enough PP to splurge on a Fungi Covered Great staff. Already bought my 55 pet spell and would have enough to buy form of the great bear as well.

Just curious if this would be worth the purchase for the extra mana it would bring in? Or if I would be better off just pooling money for my higher levels spells.

As that page shows, the Fungal Regrowth from that staff does not stack with the Regrowth you can already cast. In other words, it'd be a waste of money to save you a small amount of mana every 20 min or so.

Good to know, thanks. Is the 5hp regen from the Iskar BP worth that money?

Personally I'd say yes.

But I'm the shaman that still uses a fungi at 60 so /shrug

That being said, if you're looking for upgrades at 54 and don't have epic (or at least JBB) I'd shoot for one of those.

debating between ikky bp and staff too... guess ikky bp is best option!
Why does the price keep creeping up? I see it used to be 10k, now its hitting 13.... gah.

I understand the fungi/king camp is less appealing now. Nerfed drop? shrug

If that is the case and the fungi has gone up the Ikky is tied to the value of that. Approx 1/4th the cost.

I don't know exactly what's up with that camp but if the named spawn/drop rate was reduced it's just economics 101, supply vs demand.

Ikky didn't get nerfed- the fungi king (fungi tunic) camp was changed so it's harder to pull/farm them now- aka, harder to duo it and need more dps to keep up with having to pull more mobs to farm tunics. Since fungi tunics are going up in plat value, the "next best thing" ikky bp is now going up as well as a result.

I do not have JBB either, I like grouping more than soloing so I was thinking Regen gear would be the better investment. Just trying to figure out where to spend the money to make the 2nd half of 54 through 60. My gear is not so great currently so I figured I would seek out some experience.
