New User login issues
 

I tired to do a search, but it looks like the forums are fairly new.

Installed EQ titanium, did not patch. I followed the instructions for setting up an account and replacing certain game files. I made an account at eqemu (LS Account as well).

I put the correct server info in the patch txt file so it would connect to the eqemu server. I try to login last night and get a DBerror: bad password (something to that effect).

Any recommendations?

You need to put that info in the eqhost.txt file. It looks like this:

[LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998

Also make sure you only run eqgame.exe and NOT EverQuest.exe.

I had already correctly edited the txt file for the eqemu server.

For some reason the login server didn't like my login name. I created a new one and no problem.
