Skilling Backstabbing
 

Hi, actually i'm lvl 14 and want to get my backstabbing to lvl, means 75 and i have 14 now.
My question is, how can i raise it at best ? Actually i run around at newbie yard in qeynos and backstab the lvl-1 mobs there, no gain so far. I have the impression that the few gains in got in blackburrow were faster, maybe because the mobs there are near my lvl, does lvl of mob make a difference at all ?

If I remember correctly, you can't gain skill increases from green cons. Make friends with a necro or two and go fear kiting to work on it, or just join groups and work on it the old fashioned way.

Id prob say the best/fastest way would join a group and stab things!

The best way is to join a group.

It'll level up in no time, you won't even have to think about it.

Yeah, just forget that the skill on it is low, once you start grouping consistently it will always be on level.

As a rogue you "should" always be looking for someone(s) to group with so you can get behind and stab away for all eternity!

If you are twinked/soloing you can step through mobs and land a backstab before they turn around.

Also just go near a group of people and ask if you can skill up BS. If you are only hitting BS on mobs vs a full group (or against a higher lvl player), you probably wont be out dpsing them and they kill faster.

Drop some coin into capping it with practice points. I save all my points when I make a new rogue and cap backstab the moment I hit level 10. Once the skill is maxed it’s fairly easily kept that way, provided you’re not soloing. Max BS skill at 10 is soo much damage boost, too.

Imo your skill is way too low for your level (14 out of 75) and you need to get it capped ASAP to do your role in group.
