Rain Bug

Am I the only person that notices Rain spells don't cast 3 waves?

I get:

2 immediate waves 90% of them resisted

No 3rd wave.

Rains work for me. They can only hit max of four times to non-friendly NPCs. So, if there are two mobs it will only hit each of them twice. The third wave will still trigger on you though.

Rains also have an additional chance to be resisted no other spell gets. My memory is an additional 20%.

I thought Rain spells were mistakenly counting player pets as targets, so if your rain hits a mob and your pet, it will only do 2 waves. Whereas if the rain only hit the mob, it would do the full 3. Maybe you can test it on a rooted mob.

there is nothing more satisfying than casting a rain spell on a corpse at a zone line, then someone zones over and dies right away as it starts falling.

ohh man that's the juice.

This is likely the culprit if they are a mage. If they are a wizard, then it's trying to cast on multiple mobs at once. Rains only have 4 "hits" in them.

So it was post Velious when rains hit more than 4 waves? Or this was nerfed from live? Because my rains used to hit 3 waves each on unlimited mobs. No "max waves"
