Oct's Trading Post and Consignment
Greetings, fellow TunnelQuesters! My name is Octavion and, though I may be a tad evil by nature, I work to provide fair prices for you, which most of the time will be under the 90-day average price on the wiki. I scout out the best deals, helping people unload their unwanted items quickly at a fair convenience price, and then those savings are passed on to you! I also am offering consignment services, so that you can get back to killing, camping, or just drunkenly running around zones you think are pretty. My fee for this service is 10% of the total the item sells for, which is a price that we will agree upon beforehand. If I am unable to sell your item within a week, I will make you an offer on the item myself, which will often be the selling price we initially agreed upon. Yup, it was inspired by a friend I made in the EC tunnel recently, who told me about his time TunnelQuesting and he showed me his consignment page. Seems like a great way to help others out and build community in a game I love, while allowing me to save up plat for some much needed upgrades, so I figured I'd give it a shot :) He gave me some great advice and was really friendly. He also told me he isn't really in the Tunnel game anymore these days, so I figured I would model my approach directly after his, as sort of an homage. Let me know if you have any questions! I have to say, this particular trader was very patient. When going to purchase his Gauntlets of Fiery Might, my internet was acting up something fierce. I was not able to get to him for what I feel was 30 minutes. All this going on from West Freeport! He was kind enough to take the item off his sales list and allowed me to purchase it from him. On top of that, his prices were affordable (Gauntlets of Fiery Might were sold to me for 4,700 plat.). He could have sold it to someone else instead of waiting for me to get back online, but he didn't. Octavion is a stand up guy and I trust him to sell his wares at a fair price.
