Civ 6 is free on epic games

played some of the early civs and they were pretty fun, though some of them had huge balance issues. They got me into total war games and never really looked back at the civ series.

Eh, Civ is for the "normies". It was all about:

the epic plattform sucks.
I wouldnt download it even if they offered a free copy of EverQuest.

Hmm. Never actually played that. Looks like a game I'd of liked. I remember playing a game called "Gemfire" on SNES with all my D&D pals back then when we didn't have enough time/nachos/soda/players for a D&D session. Didn't have a computer back then anyway. had a rich friend friend who had a nice one and would spend the weekends at his house playing Ultima and TSR games nonstop.
