Game Sounds after I log out of EQ
 

The strangest thing.
I completely logged out and closed EQ completely. As I'm starting to do work on the computer I start hearing EQ noises from my speakers. I hear spells being cast and a lessor kobald howling in the distance. Occasionally I hear footsteps.
I haven't begun to trouble shoot, as I don't really mind it.

Check to see if eqgame.exe is still running under your processes tab of your task manager.

This is kind of similar to people who experience indefinite 1018 errors after logging out, which is usually fixed by setting comparability mode to xp sp 2 or 3.

Thanks Argh. I rebooted the pc before checking if it was running in task manager. (It probably was). After rebooting the noises left.
I have compatibility mode on SP3. Maybe move it to 2??
