If you have access to split your HD or SDD into partitions do it. Reboot the laptop and enter BIOS set-up. Make it boot up the empty partition first. Install another copy of Windows on the empty partition. Boot up on this drive when you want to game, boot up on the company partition when you want to work.

I'm glossing over some steps, but this will take you down a path I used to get around these 2nd rate IT guys.

I just moved and have successfully tethered my laptop to my phone to play.

I have no issues at all playing over LTE in the UK. I've even been known to book a holiday now and then and spend the day at the pub playing EQ tethered to my phone.

What would be a good Netbook to buy to play P99 smoothly? Also how much data does this game consume through LTE?

I hope you guys get fired for playing video games when you should be working. I bet you'd be one of the garbage group members who says they gotta go afk "real quick" (to do work you should be doing instead of playing a video game) and then tries to AFK for 30 minutes on the group being a straight leech.

You obviously have no morals or work ethic to prevent you from leeching from your employers so obviously you have no qualms leeching from group members in EQ...sad.

My mobile hotspot through T-Mobile works great. I was in a great Highpass Hold Gobbo group and my internet died. Decided to give it a whirl on my hotspot a minute later... and then didn't realize I was 2-3 hours into the session when my regular internet came up.

I do it all the time. Verizon w/hotspot and connected to laptop via usb. Works great.

It sounds like it being a company laptop is the issue. You can run this on LTE no problem but it will be a little laggy. Nothing gamebreaking IMO.

Do you all play while at work?
