Pushing won't interrupt anymore, so no point unrooting. Get those shields out and start bashing and get your enchanters mana sieving.

My monk has been interrupting plenty if goblin casters recently. Unsure if this is relevant. I don't have a stun proc. using epic fists or wqs and flying kick (without disc). Level 52.

Flying kick might interrupt, not sure.
