All the lords/ladies that are up run straight from their spawn point to vulak to aid him, you can't do vulak with vyemm up

You most certainly can! Aftermath has killed Vulak with 6 dragons up, as has Awakened.

No different to how it was. Do they just run faster or something?

Well Unbrella did say no one in Empire would listen to him explain how blue pulled. They did it the CSG way mostly.
