DSETUP.DLL missing?
 

Hi, I just downloaded the latest patch found on Getting Started at the wiki and everything works for the Blue Server.
I tried playing on the Green Server and it said DSETUP.DLL missing?

Please help, thanks

Probably anti virus issue. There's a sticky on this forum on it.

Thanks, I made two folders (50d and 50f) and a new shortcut for eqgame.exe in the Green Folder.
Turned off my anti-virus and it is good to go!

I'm having the same issue. I only have one folder cause I don't want to play on Blue. I went on the forum and downloaded the latest patch where it says:

Beta is now on patch files 50g.

And I still can only log in Blue. Green I get the same error message. I was able to log on green fine last weekend

Are you certain you overwrote your files with the 50g files? And that your antivirus didn't nuke the 50g dsetup.dll?
(for green beta)

What is your OS?

I did same thing I do every time there was a patch, I downloaded the files and copy them in my EQ folder. dsetup.dll is there. I even tried deleting it from my EQ folder to make sure I had the newest one when I copied the file and I get the same error.

I downloaded the game on my wife's laptop with Windows 10, works fine. but I cant play on her laptop, So i hope I can make it work by then 25th :(

Maybe I could just copy the game from my wife's laptop to my PC....I'll try that

didnt work either. I just copied the folder I had on the laptop to my PC and I get "error in your GUI XML files. Check UIEerrors.txt" when i click on the launch titanium icon

probably should have done this ealier....clean re-install. now it works. thanks for the tips!
