necros in groups
 

i was wondering at higher levels do necros have alot of problems getting into groups?

Definitely not when I am around. We had a team of 4 - pick up group, camping Verix in KC Basement with a necro as the main healer. Worked out just swell and I got my Verix medallion knocked out. Also recently, they are in demand in the hole but are expected to use charm on the undead revenants and wanderers which is an immense increase in dps.

Just don't be lazy.

Charm pets, CC, heal, twitch healers.

DPS, heal, twitch, on the spot necro-mez when needed, snare if needed as well.

Necros are the best groupmates in the game in many ways - cant go wrong

Necromancers are alright unless theyre from that bertoxx cult in the sewers, sicko women and children murderers, they ruined qeynos, theyll not ruin freeport!

Necros that are well played in groups are awesome. I've had necros be the primary healer in a whole bunch of KC groups.

Necros can heal, charm pets for mean DPS, root adds, ghetto mez, nuke, and snare...preferably all of the above! Even with a healer in the group keeping your hot on the tank and tapping yourself up saves the healer gobs of mana - way more than twitching him IMHO, though I've never done the math to 100% confirm.

That said, a necro who just summons a regular pet and nukes every so often and twitches himself oom is pretty disappointing.
