Just started a mage on green. Got to lvl 9 so far, and met a really nice high level Druid who gave me 100pp. Should I use this on gear upgrades or just save it for spells? I’m in all cloth from looting orcs and in the dagger I started with. Thanks for any help.

I think saving for spells would be most wise for now. I can’t think of any super beneficial item you could get now for just 100pp. Perhaps someone else may have a better suggestion, though.

Maybe a magic weapon so you can hit wisps and ghouls if you need to, (though I guess mages can summon their own) otherwise I’d just save for spells.

If I were in your shoes, I'd primarily save it for spells since the cost ramps up quickly.

Definitely save it for spells.

Casters don't scale as well with new gear like a melee class does.

And Intelligence-based pure casters have expensive spells.

You can budget for your next line of spells and see how much they will all cost and use any left over cash for gear.

That's good around 15 or 16 I think? I forget. But they drop Bronze weapons, which sell for a few plat each

Yep, everyone said it, that 100pp will get you a good chunk of spells but only for so long. You're gonnna need it!
