What captures the essence of EverQuest for you the most?

Personally I've always liked the grind to 60, the routes involved and that savage climb from 51-60.

Swish how long have you been here? And yet no 9/11 option? For shame :(

No suitable poll option available. Best part of the game for me has been the level 60 non-raid game, lot of duo/trio stuff. Don't care about raids, hate EC, and definitely don't care about new P99 servers.

The other question, what captures the essence of this game....P99 *is* EQ for me, insofar as I care anymore. I've been on P99 much, much longer than I played original EQ for.

Needs a "I don't leave the karanas" option.

On and off since 2011 and I've still never hit 60. Played P99 and the DBG Progression servers vastly longer than I ever played original EQ. It's all about the leveling. Raiding for any longer than a week or two has always immediately burned me out.

I like EQ because it's like a simplified version of real life.

It's got all the same bs, but it's just a lot more simple. Which I think makes humans better. They get really bad the more and more complicated things get, like just look at raiding.

But go run around and meet someone and kill some rodents and then sell their pelts and go live in a dirt hut.

That is what life is all about.
