Looks like a new TLP is releasing soon. It will be fun for at least 9-12 months. By then, hopefully Red99 will have been shut down permanently. How long are devs going to let those homeless losers squat in there?

wow is better than retail EQ

they really should have reskinned EQ 1 and launched it as EQ 3

they could have had like stuff like player housing and slightly cooler tradeskilling and resource gathering (not like the crap in EQ 2 tho) (more like wows) and it would ahve been a huuge successs

SoE is happy with the cash shop tho

that said retail EQ isn't that bad. and better than the insanity asylum p99 raiding is

P99 been around13 years, Every TLP is dead within 12 months. Sorry live EQ is hot garbage and you are invested in gimmick servers bound for isolation

Yeah pretty hilarious to say TLP is better than 13 year old project 1999 server. I'd take blue over any live server so would all 1200 or whatever players here.

So yeah it will always be a niche...people who give a damn about the actual old game but for anyone who likes "actual" EQ , the alternatives are a joke.

A lot of people are cool scooting through old world with godmode enabled for the nostalgia feels but not the nostalgia experience.
