Overking Bathezid - Flame Song of Ro?
 

Did Overking always do a 400 fire aoe? It isn't listed on his abilities on http://wiki.project1999.org/Overking_Bathezid

Also I did chardok royals like a few months ago and don't recall him ever doing this attack. Now he is not doing aoe gravity flux anymore and this has replaced it? Just wondering if I missed some patch notes or if this is a problem or not? I thought the fire aoe + dispel was the Queen's ability and not the King's..

Sorry if this has already been addressed or I am wrong, but am very confused after coming back after a few months to Royals and finding the mechanics changed.

King is a wizard so he has access to those abilities, gflux etc are you positive that the aoe is flamesong of ro and not just some wizard fire ae spell?

Sounds like their abilities got swapped but I havent done royals in a few months so can't note any changes, last time I did them they worked appropriately though

It was definitely Flame Song of Ro, It was also going off very regularly and stripping buffs like Queens aoe does. Also, isn't Overking a Cleric and not a Wizard? I thought he was just a Cleric with that aoe grav flux.

Unless there was some hidden change I am not aware of I think there is something wrong with the mechanics of King (Queen still does the aoe as well so I think it is normal).

I seem to remember king having an aoe called 'fiery death'. It should dispel and do a minor amount of fire based damage. Queen's aoe does about 1600 damage over two ticks so you'd notice if it was the same aoe as king's - how much is king's aoe doing? And are you sure that it's called "flame song of ro"?

Now, if you search what spells do that, fiery death is the winner.

Looking further, I searched our spells for "immolated by flame" and saw.. nothing. The spell which is currently cast on p99 is "Firey Death", and cast on other has "immolated in flame". Someone with a kunark/velious spdat care to verify this misspelling?

From my tests, King is doing correct abilities as noted above. (gflux and fireydeath)

Is the Queen's AoE FlameSongofRo doing only 850 damage?

She should be doing 1700 damage -- 850 initial + 850 after 1 tick

This would apply to Rak Ashiir in City of Mist also.
