Ranger Wolf Form
 

I have noticed that I rarely see other 50+ Rangers using wolf form. I was wondering if there is something I am missing. I am in wolf form whenever possible for the buff it provides. Any reason Not to use wolf form when outdoors?

It goes away when you zone ... and it's super annoying when you forget that, start moving in the new zone, agro something, realize you can't run away, etc.

That's the main reason I don't use it on my Druid unless I know I'm going to be in one place for awhile

Can't show off my Earthcaller and Swiftwind as a doggo.

I will admit this question popped up in my head after I got my Swiftwind.

The lower POV, the animation in first-person, and the constant barking drove me nuts.

Sounds like its a personal choice issue, not a mechanical one. Just wanted to be sure I wasn't doing something wrong.

It’s ugly and the sound is annoying.

I actually quit my Ranger after 50 thinking I'd have to be a dog for the rest of my life

Animation/duck in first person, can’t wall vision as you’re losing shrink every time you refresh it, stupid noise it makes, and can’t see if sitting/standing.
