metal bits recipe broken?
 

Trying to combine water flasks and tarnished weapons in forge behind ironforges in north qeynos results in "you cannot combine items of this type". Tried all different combinations and amounts of water. I'm sure i'm being a noob but what am i missing? is it broken?

Tarnished weapons have nothing to do with metal bits.

One of the later expansions allowed the combination of tarnished weapons and a flask of water to create blocks and pieces of iron ore. But definitely not available here.
