Project 1999 - Carebare makes a PVP server

I'm bored so I'm going to invent a pvp server for ya'll. Might as well post in rnf so I can be ripped. Cause ur bored too.

Ok, premise #1: No gm or staff should ever have to interact with you guys. This is just a mental health and safety issue. Must be built into rule-set.

premise #2: Eq pvp does not work very well because it was not built from the beginning for it. (And also why it is so awesome to some degree). All rule sets are ripe with conundrums, catch-22s, paradoxeye, enigmas, and the like. So there will be 8 rotating rule sets. They will change automatically and randomly every 24 to 168 hours.

premise #3: All pvp players by nature are subject to form dominant groups, adopting the group's thought patterns as their own (known as schafencloden in german.) In real life we get things like genocide. In pvp, the players form guilds and join the one they view as dominant. It ends worlds. So no guilds allowed. Plus the rotating rule sets won't allow for it.

Ruleset 1-7 Old world stuff. How about random (each time it pops) teams as one.

Ruleset 8: The 8th character on your load screen can only be an iksar. When this ruleset is engaged, you will automatically load your iksar or will return to load screen to create one. Only kunark is available and there will be 3 or 4 teams. This will be the only access to kunark and you maintain your team throughout. Definitely item loot / all loot dropable.

Trains: Can't decide on free for all or some anti train code. Like, once a player engages a mob, the only way for another player to get agro is to engage themselves.... But that would make for exploits and easy pulling. But that's not really a big deal.

Raids: idk

ok, Might work on this later, doubt it. u guys are used to that.
