Hard to do that from work :)

Nuggie 08-14-2020 02:35 PM

Well, yea

NOT WORTH

The Ishva Mal is a Splitpaw named mob. Formerly a 36-hour spawn (still 36 hour spawn on GREEN)

On Blue it sells for:
2020-08-09 Niiamh 300pp

heh, I will gladly wait out on this one... Rogues can go drag corpses in the time being.

WORTH

Manastone - 96-150 hour camp

On Blue it sells for

600-800k

Green:

220K-250K - and going up

Nuggie 08-14-2020 08:21 PM

In sky it's a little more complicated than dragging corpses.

Videri 08-14-2020 08:31 PM

Yeah, Summon Corpse isn't for corpse recovery.

Is this some new kid slang or what?

On Green, every Manastone was milked from the time it was capable of being camped till it went away (save any that rotted because #1 in line didn't loot it).

On blue, the camp was frequently open and stone dropped much more frequently. Blue also has 1/10th to 1/3rd the population (I remember a huge celebration when we hit 300 after months and months).

Green population is staggeringly higher than Blue was at any time pre-Kunark. The p99 population is a good order of magnitude more top-heavy, min/max and well informed than Live classic ever was. I think Green is another order of magnitude beyond what Blue was.

For perspective, on Blue redwood wands were radically more common drops, were from static (not roaming) mobs and they were pretty much never camped ever, because almost nobody knew about them (and because they were common enough that you got a full set before too long).

Far be it guilds will have to play the zone the way it was meant to be played on a classic server.

Back in the day, the first sky raid the staff walked the players through how to do it.

That's no longer needed in 2020.
