mobs see through doors?

Assuming mobs can not see through doors but tried to pull in MM and 3 mobs came at me. Are doors not good enough for LOS rules? Thanks in advance.

Yeah, almost none of the doors in EverQuest block line of sight, even when closed. They're basically see-thru for mobs, but not for us. brutal hehe

Yep, its as good as open... gotta be at the side of the door, open it...and peek around as best as you can.

As for Mistmoore... anything involving a door is going to be multiple pulls usually. If you have CC just pull all 3 and put the enchanter/bard/etc to work.

MM

Been soloing there with decent success. The three mobs behind Snythi wrecked me pretty quickly. Oh well, I haven't died in about 5 levels so lesson learned :P. Thanks for the advice!

Mobs have always been able to see through doors in eq closed or not

Technically they can't see through doors, but they can aggro through them. it's a subtle but important distinction.

This is true, because if you bind sight you'll notice that they cannot see through it either. :p
