Another old gamer returning to my MMORPG roots
 

I've been debating about playing EQ again on Daybreak. But I didn't want to play through all the expansions. I saw someone on Twitch playing p1999 so here I am!

I used to play a gnome magician on Tarew Marr. I was one of the few lucky ones to have obtained the epic weapon for the mage. Basically made my pet OP 😂. Those were the fun days, camping specific rooms for no drop items, killing sir Lucan for the paladins, etc.

I miss the old school graphics and I'm hoping to play on p1999 soon!

It might take you quite some time to get a magician epic on p99 good luck :p welcome on the server!

Mages are an awesome choice, probably third most practical of a starting toon behind Necro and Druid.

But as Nagoya said, the epics are a pain on this server.
