Error 1017
 

Cannot login to the Everquest server. You may need to re-run the Update Patch. Repeatedly seeing this message indicates a loss of connectivity to the patch server. This is usually temporary.

I re ran the update patch and did what it asked me to do with no luck. Anyone else having this issue? Im not able to get to character select screen

This seems to be happening every couple of weekends unfortunately. It'll be resolved eventually. :(

I am having the exact same problem. no Internet issues, rebooted PC, changed my password for server login to see if that would help...still getting Error 1017. when i first login it shows me server list click login. It fails then dumps me back to the server login screen. Then the next login gives the 1017 error.

they are probably just fixing some bugs or a issue thats occured ingame. idk the exact downtime on login , tho it shouldent be that very long.

1017 error as well

have this for blue right now (i don't play on blue), and also get 1018 character is active on red.. after i haven't played for a day. anybody else also getting 1018?
