instruments and some spells i don't get it
 

1. how do brass instruments enhance lvl26 pbae fear?
2. how do stringed instruments enhance/affect lull? is it worth using a stringed instrument when you lull?

On live, the instruments lowered base chance of resist while equipped. On P1999 other bards argued it also lowered Aggro/frenzy radius further or increased Fear duration but I never noticed either additional effect to be true.

Not especially useful on fear song unless you make a habit of fearing things higher level than yourself, but anything that helps prevent critical resists on lull is worth using.
