Duck canceling

We are caught up to blue on timeline but still cannot duck cancel (to stop casting.) I think its time we get the power. Anyways pretty cut and dry post. Will post a screen of me ducking and spell bar still casting if needed for proof. Good day.

i agree, this is annoying (unless it was purposely intended for pvp) when you're casting a 10+ second spell and you're basically screwed if caught in a rut.

this weeds out bad players

please keep it in

Shouldn't even be on Blue. Post-Velious "enhancement"

** Gameplay Changes **

- Spell and Item Interruption: Ducking will now interrupt a spell
instantly. You will no longer be able to sit while using items or
casting spells. This will not affect bard songs, which will still work
as they always have, but will affect all items, even those with song-
like effects.

bump, why do bluebies get this non classic feature that isnt really needed in pve unless you are bad player?

red more classic than blue?

wow

If you review the patch notes, you'll discover we didn't have this functionality until long after pve was opened.

I support it being added purely because it should classically be there until June, 2001. It wasn't added because pve had been up for multiple years. PvP server had the option of starting with it.

Regardless, this is the pvp bugs section, so working as intended until midway Velious.
