Gravity Flux Research Combine
 

Combining "Rune of Rathe + Rune of Attraction + Rune of the Inverse" inside my usual "Lexicon" is still not working and I'm not sure why. I was under the impression this was fixed in a patch not long ago.

I did notice that in some lists like on www.crys.org they're listed as "Rune of the Rathe" and "Rune of Inverse", unlike in my inventory, but I can't see that really being the problem.

Am I just missing something as I blankly stare at my monitor whilst drooling in my lap, or are other people besides me unable to do this combine?

I combined those 3 runes in a Lexicon and produced gravity flux :(

Found this over on EQTC, apparently there are duplicates IDs of several research components. You may have combined the functioning runes, and he may have ones that don't.

Hopefully this helps you sort it out, but it looks like it will be time consuming and confusing to sift the good from the bad.

You didn't have the research UI open did you? Cause if so you have to close it.

I also have the same runes and it wont let me combine in the lexicon and im using the experiment version not the reseach one. Maybe there is duplicates that dont work dropping? Or having the ones that are "rune of" and "rune of the" messing it up.

I recently ran into this same combine problem for Gravity Flux. The Rune of Attraction needed has a duplicate with the same name, which is used for the low level research spell Levitate. Those two runes won't stack in your inventory. Hope this helps.

I just began experiencing this error - is it true that there are duplicates of "rune of attraction," but only one of them is used for Gravity Flux?

It's not an error. They're for different levels of spells.
