EC Scammers
 

Someone in EC offered to sell me a high value item for 30k, except when I put the money in the trade window he told me he was logging on Jeremy to give me the item.

Unfortunately for him I know Jeremy fairly well and he was unable to answer a simple question about him.

The name was Xmulex, but that's irrelevant as he'll probably just make a new name. However, if anyone was scammed by this guy I can back you up in any sort of petition.

Also a reminder to never give people plat first until they "log on their char with the item."

Well TMO has stated (and proven) time and time again that they'll do anything to add to their coffers.

My heart goes out to you but you learned a valuable lesson and it only cost you 30 thousand virtual platinum tokens

this happened to me to
i was auctioning to buy a withered leather tunic for 14k i got a tell from a guy called littles
i put the plat in the trade window he said he would log on to Jeremy and give me the tunic
i was not going to do that so i canceled the trade and asked him to log to Jeremy and show me the tunic before i would consider it
and gess what he never did

NO ITEM NO PLAT

Had a guy named Kbank try to do the same with me...said he was logging on to his main, who coincidentally was in my guild(not TMO)....unfortunately for him said guild member was on an alt that i was familiar with.
