Which class gets the most out of a Manastone?
 

Was just wondering which class get the most out of having a Manastone? I know its nice on Shaman and Druid because they have regen spells which help counter it, and I also heard at some point clerics can somehow negate it with having enough hp or something? But what other classes benifit well from using one, and which class is best suited for it, which one seems to become much stronger/easier because of it?

I would think a Necro needs it the least with Lich line of spells. Next least Enchanter. I know my Mage and Wizard take FOREVER to heal up sitting if they have been hit. So not sure a Manastone would be a big help to a class that has no heals.

I would think a Cleric makes the most of it with their heals. Shaman has Canni so not as needed. I was in a group with a Cleric that had one in MM and he seemed to never be oom. Was always saying 80m 90m, gtg. But I never could afford one so a person that has one probably knows more about it than I do.

Cleric with CH or donals BP or a Druid with VS legs/robe of spring

Druids: port to the old world, manastone/heal until you're full, gate back to your hunting place. Rince and repeat to your heart content.

Complete Healing is 400 mana. Manastone is 60 hp for 20 mana.

So you need to be able to manastone 20 times to break even on a complete healing cast.

So that's 1200 hp. Factor in the time it takes to manastone down, even though it's insta cast, plus the 10 seconds of complete healing, and you need about 1600hp minimum to even attempt to make it worth your while. Once you break 2khp it becomes pretty good. A low 50's cleric with gear focused on hp leveling in solb will never run out of mana.

Donals BP & Manastone is a game breaker for clerics

A necro can do some sick things with a stone. Think of it less as a lich replacement and more of an on-demand 200x speed lich. 13 clicks of a manastone + Vexing Mordinia turns into 1100 damage for only 90 mana, for instance. Few classes can use a manastone as an offensive tool as well as necro.

Epic WIZ + Manastone. As soon as Epic Rune breaks, re-apply.

This. Not to mention you can gate yourself to the old world, do your thing, then gate back to wherever you're hunting.
