Yea, kinda slacked getting these up. Better late than never!

Code
  • Haynar: Fix for casting spells from 9th spell gem without AA.
  • Haynar: Fix for snare duration in PVP, to be in sync with client.
  • Haynar: Fix for NPCs repeatly opening doors and possibly causing zone lag
  • Haynar: Fixed item dupe related to merchants.
  • Haynar: As requested, the range for pets to attack was checked and found to be set to a higher value that is present on live. As a consequence of this investigation, it was found that the pet mechanics for attacking were not implemented to resemble live behavior. This has now been remedied. Telling a pet to attack a mob that is at a greater than its attack range, will cause the pet to wait until the mob gets close enough. Make sure you keep control of your pets.
  • Haynar: Pets guarding will now face the nearest NPC.
  • Haynar: Line of Sight is no longer required for the Alliance and Bind Sight lines of spells.
  • Haynar: Movement speed buffs will not longer stack their speed effects. Only the buff with the highest value will be applied. Sorry Bards, no loving for you this week, but no more stacking SoW with Selo’s.
  • Haynar: Spells with snare effects will now negate any effects due to movement speed buffs.
  • Haynar: Stunned mobs will no longer jump, warp, or go out of range while stunned. If you find cases where this is not the case, please give details on how to reproduce. I tested many combinations getting this to work.
  • Rogean: I love Haynar.

  • Nilbog: Bat wings have returned to the following vendors:
    • Kathar Firespinner -East Commons
    • Jeliala Glimmercharm and Tika Shockstep - Erudin
    • Jeena Firechaser - Kithicor Forest
    • Hrak - Oggok
    • Lysa Truegreen, Zasrin Blueflame - West Freeport
  • Nilbog: Hotfixed-Quests- Niola Impholder will now only reward spell: flare for her quest.
  • Nilbog: Removed the "silvered" weapon blacksmithing recipes.
  • Nilbog: Inert Potion quest will now work. faction rewards fixed.
  • Nilbog/Bumamgar: Slansin and the fake Slansin will now work properly.
  • Nilbog: Created "a diseased shark". It can be found rarely with the other sharks in Erudin harbor.
  • Nilbog/Rumzuck: a diseased shark will release 3-10 young sharks when killed
  • Nilbog: Many sharks had the wrong model for their head (hammerhead). Fixed them
  • Nilbog: The Arena is now bindable. Not sure what combination of fixes made this work properly or when it happened, but it works now.
  • Rogean: (That was me ^^^)
  • Nilbog: Marton Sayer will now have correct quest text and faction/monetary rewards for gnoll slayer.
  • Nilbog: Captain Rohand's Brandy quest will now reward the proper factions.
  • Nilbog: Created recipe for Kithar's Disease Treatment.
  • Nilbog: Ulrich McMannus loot and max hit corrected.
  • Nilbog: Crypt mummies in Nro will once again aggro you regardless of level.
  • Nilbog: Torklar Battlemaster has been set to 0% until Velious.
  • Nilbog: Translocators have been removed. Enjoy the boats.
  • Aeolwind/Bumamgar: Cazic Thule will once again summon his allies upon arrival.
  • Aeolwind: Canloe Nusback will now accept single belts any number of belts from 1-4.
  • Aeolwind: Canloe Nusback will only accept pads in duos now.
  • DOACleric: Sonic bats will now proc less often

I believe the young sharks give good caster faction for Erudin.

Is there anyway of telling which way a boat is heading before you board it?

The pointy end is the bow, the boat goes that way. The flat end is the stern, it gets there last :)

Translocators are the same as boats? I don't know what the difference is you're missing.

Sometimes, going from BBM to OOT to FP, it takes me about 45 minutes, sometimes, it takes me like 3 minutes (got lucky on the translocator spawns). Now, is that entirely fair that it's all based on luck? It should be time based completely and boats accomplish just that.

Yes this is a double post.

I've noticed that mobs now tend to want to ride up my ass when they want to hit me, no matter how I move around, they will stay on top of me practically making it so I can't fight back. This doesn't happen with EVERY mob, but it's happening now when it wasn't happening before.

He ya know in classic I seem to remember the way the boat faced may have counted...not sure < doesn't count now as some of them pull up parallel to the dock>. Didn't the ships have announcements and names when they zoned in or something? Obviously this only applies to the middle waypoints.

No announcements were made by the boats. They silently did their duty.
